Misty in Buried Cutscene
Abigail "Misty" Briarton is a playable character in the Zombies game mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
Background[]
Before the Zombies incident, Misty used to live in a farm. She had a mother who died of unknown causes and her father was killed by the zombies. At some point, she met Marlton Johnson, whom she began to be infatuated with. The duo fought against the zombies in a town in Hanford until they were picked up by Russman and Samuel J. Stuhlinger in a bus. The four characters were then contacted by Dr. Ludvig Maxis and were told to activate the Pylon as part of his plan to deal with Edward Richtofen's forces of undead. However, Stuhlinger began to hear Richtofen's voice in his head, telling him to activate the Pylon with his own methodology for unknown purposes.
After the Pylon was activated, the four characters were teleported by Richtofen to a skyscraper in Shanghai, China. After witnessing Russman being killed by the Jumping Jack, Misty, Marlton and Stuhlinger continued to defend themselves until they were killed as well. However, Richtofen would then reversed the events so that the four characters could carry out his tasks. Here, Maxis and Richtofen continued to give the four characters instructions to activate another tower.
After the task was accomplished, the four characters traveled on foot to Africa. There, they set up camp in the desert, planning their next actions. The day after, the characters proceeded to "the rift", and ended up in an underground Western town.

Misty is brash and self-satisfied, thinking of herself rather highly. She hates Samuel but she seems to like Marlton. She has bad memories associated with her past and tries to not to think about them, keeping herself occupied by killing zombies.
